Christmas is almost here
I’m so excited that Christmas is almost here. Even though I wasn’t in a position to buy the gifts that I wanted to buy, I’m still thankful to be alive and well, have a loving family around me, and precious, healthy children to care for. I am blessed. Sometimes I don’t particularly feel like I am, but I am truly blessed. And Christmas time is about being thankful. Thankful for God and Jesus. Thankful for being able to see another Christmas. Thankful that those near and dear to me are still here. Thankful for my children. Thankful for all of the love and joy that abounds.
Money may not be in abundance, but that’s ok. This season will pass. But, the love and joy is part of what helps to get people through. It has definitely worked for me. I encourage readers to be thankful for whatever blessings you have in your life, whether you perceive them to be small or large. You are blessed, and focus on that.
